My husband and I have been married for 24 years and we have two adult biological children and one child adopted through foster care who is 6 years old. We joke that he will either keep us young. Parenting in your 50’s is much harder than parenting in your 20’s, we’ve discovered. But our son is a blessing, for sure.
I enjoy singing, crafting, and traveling to far off places. We have been blessed to visit Barcelona, the French Riviera, Rome, Malta, Sicily, Alaska, Canada, and the Caribbean Islands. We enjoyed Sicily so much that my husband has decided that he wants to be cremated when he dies and his ashes scattered off the cliffs at Taormina, Sicily.
