In 2000, CAS created a student sponsorship program in Moldova.   This program has been going strong since then, supporting hundreds of students in need through the generosity of our sponsors and supporters.

The Moldova Sponsorship Program gives orphaned and disadvantaged young adults the opportunity to build hopeful, independent futures through social and financial support.  Sponsors provide quarterly assistance for essentials while students attend secondary school programs:  vocational programs, colleges, universities, or other training. Through a supportive student club who meet quarterly, life-skills programs, mentoring, and personal connection with each other and the Moldova based coordinator, young people are assisted with the confidence and tools they need to become successful, self-supporting adults. Sponsors receive regular communication from their student in addition to a quarterly newsletter and photos.
