As a child, I always knew that I wanted to be a social worker. I wanted to be able to make a difference in someone’s life just as someone had made a difference in mine. I have been in the field for 19 years serving in the capacity of a Foster Care Prevention Worker, Foster Care Worker, and now School Social Worker. Each career path has allowed me to view social work from varying angles and has increased my passion for the field. I can’t wait to see where the next 19 years take me! When I am not doing social work, I am a wife and a mother of three boys. I enjoy nurturing my friendships when life allows, alone time, and yelling from the bleachers as my boys play basketball.
