Danny and Ruth, a loving, multicultural couple excited to grow our family through adoption. We met in 2014, and quickly connected through laughter, good food, and our shared sense of adventure. Danny is a chef who brings creativity and joy to every meal he makes, and Ruth works in counseling, where she finds deep meaning in supporting children and families.
Our backgrounds — Japanese, Italian, Irish, Polish, and Nicaraguan — have shaped us into people who value connection, kindness, and respect for all cultures and faiths. We love exploring nature, hiking new trails, and traveling to discover new foods and traditions together.
Family is at the heart of who we are. We’re both very close to our parents and siblings, who are overjoyed to welcome a child into the family. Our gatherings are full of laughter, home-cooked meals, and stories that celebrate where we each come from. We look forward to creating a home where a child feels safe, deeply loved, and encouraged to grow into exactly who they are meant to be
