Yale

Yale is a 6 year old boy who is described as being “smiling, radiant, and calm”. He has several special needs, including pyruvate dehydrogenase deficiency (a genetic metabolic disease for which he is on a ketogenic diet), microcephaly, epilepsy, and general developmental delays. He is extremely resilient and can stand up independently and take side steps using a stationary support. Additionally, he can sit up independently and moves around by crawling, though he is currently learning how to use a walker. He loves to be around other children as well as spending time with his caregivers. Yale needs additional support but would thrive in a loving forever family!
