I am very excited to join the CAS team.  In 2023, after 30 years, I retired from working in child welfare at the county level.  My professional experience is primarily in foster care and adoptions.  My passion is helping children feel loved and accepted.  Stability is critical for their development, so that they can feel safe and have the foundation necessary to achieve their life goals.  I enjoy supporting children and their families, and I love to “think outside the box” when it comes to identifying solutions that prove beneficial for all involved.  I love country-living and the peace that comes with it.  I also have a heart for animals.  My husband and I love to travel all over the world.  We spend time on multiple cruises each year but also enjoy short weekend trips within the USA, when possible.  I am a proud grandmother and could never have imagined the joy and warmth that grandchildren bring.
