The purpose of Foster Care is to provide safe, loving homes and services to the children, youth, and families who are engaged with the state child welfare system. Foster Care services are typically focused on the reunification of children and youth with their families of origin. The role of a foster parent is to provide nurturing and support to both the children and their families during their time in the child welfare system as they prepare for the next step in their journey. Contact our team to learn how to become a foster family.
We will support you through the training process, through the placement of the child, and through every part of your journey as we all help create the best possible futures for children and families. Children’s Adoption Services supports family foster care for reunification as well as finding forever families.
