I suppose I have really been part of the CAS family for a while now. Both of my children (now 18 and 21) are adopted internationally and we used CAS as our adoption agency all those years ago. I am honored to be a part of the CAS family in this new capacity as a Remote Foster Care Services Coordinator in the Eastern part of NC. My background is in business and K-6 education, where I have most recently served as a classroom teacher for approximately 20 years. I currently own my own real estate investing company as a property solutions specialist, helping families in distressed housing situations find creative financing solutions to enable them to stay in their houses or help them find alternative home solutions. I also work with distressed homes that my partners and I can renovate to create affordable housing.

I have been married for 31 years, have two kids (one still living at home finishing up her culinary program and one living/working in Raleigh who just graduated from NCSU) and have two of the best Golden Retrievers. We moved to Morehead City in August 2020 (COVID transplants), but I grew up coming to this area. We love everything island life entails and just generally love being near the water!
